As a freshman at Harvard College, I am pursuing my passion for biochemistry and molecular biology, with the goal of advancing scientific knowledge and improving human health. I am currently working as a research intern at the García-Cardeña Lab at Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School, where I use cellular, molecular, bioengineering, and computational biology tools to understand how blood flow affects vascular development and disease.I have also gained valuable research experience in the fields of plant evolution and genomics, as well as international and Latino affairs, through internships at UC Davis and APAPA International. I've contributed to multiple projects that involved phylogenetic analyses, imaging techniques, data analysis, and event coordination.
