I enjoy working with technology, computers, customers, and coworkers. Currently studying to be a Computer Support Specialist at Kirkwood Community College, as well as focusing on learning a little bit about Business, Media Communications (like both Video and Audio Production), and maybe learn some more trades in the future (like since I already did both construction and woodworking in high school, maybe also now learn about welding, glassmaking, plumbing, and electrical).

  My employer laid me off at the moment back in November of 2023. However, at my job, we manage networks for hotels across the country, so I help guests at hotels get online to the wi-fi with their devices when they call in. They are usually calling in about a gaming device, cell phone, laptop, tablet, and more. I also help out hotels get their equipment back online (like their routers, switches, modems, gateways, access points, and sometimes their FD networks). I do this by having them go to a switch, router, or gateway, I have them look at the light status, and if there are no lights at all (or red or orange lights), then I have them unplug a black power cable and plug it back in. If that does not solve the issue, then I escalate it up. I use a ticketing system called Auto Note to both document my information and escalate when needed.
