An allrounder with over 20 years’ experience as an IT professional working in telecommunications, networking, business analysis, help desk, infrastructure, internal and external cabling, server room construction, P-V and cloud, just to name a few. With a solid technical base. common sense, lateral thinking and absolute determination and a "never say die" attitude I have amassed a string of successful projects delivered on time and within budget.Unfortunate circumstances meant I raised my 4 young children as a single father since 2003. Left with no choice, I gave up my Military career and pivoted to the more stable commercial sector. From that point onwards I Worked extremely hard to provide for my family a life as close to normal as possible, whilst concurrently maintaining a career in corporate managerial positions. In 2019 the children had grown in to adults and were all working and discovering their own paths, which allowed me an opportunity to take a career break for 6 months and reacquaint myself with my home workshop and hobbies.Revitalised and unencumbered I am keen to get back to work!!!STRENGTHS- Project management employing a mix of the agile and waterfall methodology’s to best suit to each project,- Problem solving and incident management, focusing on getting people back to work through creative solutions using workarounds,- Frontline management assisting people to reach their full potential,- Technical management unifying experts in the fault-finding process,- Third party vendor management and contract negotiation,- Stakeholder management,- Big picture awareness with an ability to consider all factors and prioritise effectively,- Root cause analysis- 8 figure operations and capital budgets,- Pro-active approach to avoid major outages,- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with the ability to translate technical and operational requirements- Comprehensive Knowledge of the telecommunication industry.

When I spoke to Ambulance Vic and heard that their telemetry project had 4 PM’s in as many months, I felt this was an opportunity to not only work on an interesting cloud based data project, but a chance to pay back and help the good folk at AV who sacrifice so much.
