I am writing to express my interest regarding and openings for the American Sign Language Adjunct Teacher/Instructor. I am fluent in American Sign Language and have experience in teaching American Sign Language as a foreign course. I have taught sign language on a part time basis at the University of Utah as well as full time at Stansbury High School District . I am also the treasurer of the president of the Utah chapter of American Sign Language Teachers Association (ASLTAC), an organization that promotes American Sign Language and Deaf Culture through excellence in teaching including ASL as a heritage or first language, as a second language, and as part of Deaf Studies.
