Involved in the commissioning of the Ensus Plant whilst producing written procedures, risk assessments, instructions and operating parameters. Continued involvement with ramping up, learning, modifications and adjusting parameters to meet current efficiency targets and milestones.Fully trained Incident Controller and 1st point of contact for the emergency services and Fire and Breathing Apparatus trained.Communicating between several areas of the business from Commercial, logistical and financial areas to ensure continued Plant production and efficiency. Managing and investigating to establish the root causes of incidents in Safety, Health, Environment and production losses and where appropriate identify and implement improvements to prevent reoccurrence. Proven expertise in the use of Risk Assessments, permit to work, writing Procedure isolations and operating instructions, method Statements, Incident reporting, implementing Safe Systems of Work, COSHH, DCS and Quality systems. Along with the use of fire permits and Confined space requirements.Manage any customer problems or complaints at first level so that any issues are identified, minimised and resolved. Carry out Manual Handling assessments, safety audits, Housekeeping tours, job cycle checks and safety surveys to ensure and maintain SHE targets are fully met. (Fully utilising my NEBOSH certificate knowledge)

Seal Sands

• Responsible for managing 4 operating staff on a 250Kte Biodiesel plant.• Involved in the commissioning of the Biodiesel and Glycerine areas.

Runcorn

Responsible for managing operating staff on a 125Kte Anhydrous Caustic Soda plant asset.

Teesside

• Responsible for managing a combined number of 8 operating staff on two diverse COMAH registered plants (Chlorine/Caustic and EDC).• Ensure compliance with COMAH and IPC licenses for Safety, Production and Quality Assurance requirements of all aspects of a 165Kte liquid chlorine and EDC producing asset.

Teesside

Responsible for operating the plant on start up, shutdown's and continuous operation.Carried out the outside duties and control room roles operating various processes including; centrifugation,distillation, compression and liquefaction systems
