This is a multi craft position. Preventive and corrective maintenance. The facility here provides industrial water and waste treatment for 2 steel mills. AMNS and Outokumpu Stainless. The assets we maintain are property of Outokumpu Stainless. The work includes PLCs and associated equipment, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical. Motor and pump replacement. Rebuilding of some pumps. Installation of new equipment when required and some minor fabrication work. Most recently I completed a HVACR course through Penn Foster and have obtained my EPA universal certification.

ATS is contracted for maintenance by Continental Motors facility. Troubleshooting and repair of CNC equipment used in airplane engine mfg. This included machine controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic. Two mos of my time there I worked the test lab where engines are final tested for QA approval before being packed and shipped to the customer.

I work in a project crew. Installing electrical systems, cameras and associated wiring, and control systems. We also assist in troubleshooting and repair. Electrical and mechanical. Fabrication work is also part of our responsibilities. In the last year I have been training to weld. Stick welding and wire.

Currently working on a Gusto P10000 6Gen DP Drillship. ETs are responsible for maintaining systems ship wide including drilling systems and associated equipment, CCTV system, dynamic positioning system, safety systems, satellite system for computer and telephone communications, and networking of ship systems. Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting tasks are logged in the SAP program. The vessel management system, drilling systems, dynamic positioning system, and safety systems are PLC type. This includes Siemens, Kongsberg, and GE PLCs. The ship safety system responsibilities include gas detection (H2S, Hydrocarbon, and Oxygen), fire protection (Heat Detectors, Smoke Detectors, Flame Detectors, and AFFF), ship’s alarms, and PAGA system. Maintaining the ship’s network is also an ET responsibility. The networks consists of fiber optics, cat 5, and profibus.

Pascagoula Ms

Assigned to an electronics test crew for data display. Responsibilities included hook-up, testing, and repair of cables. Testing and repair of ships network wiring. Working closely with Aegis Test Team testing and repairing if necessary of shipboard combat systems. Other ship systems I tested were cathodic protection, degaussing, and sound power.

At Bay Area Blueprint I performed on site preventive maintenance and repair of wide format printing systems. These systems included Kip and Xerox products. I also serviced HP and Canon wide format color plotters. I was responsible for maintaining an inventory of PM kits and assorted parts for repairs. My service area was along the gulf coast from Tallahassee FL to Gulfport MS.

Shipping Dept. 2 yrsResponsibilities included warehouse inventory control. Loading of roll paper in truck trailers and rail cars for shipment to box manufacturing plants. Experienced operator in Hyster forklifts and Hyster roll clamp trucks. Power Dept. 6 yrsResponsibilities included 3 yrs. Driving Caterpillar pay loaders. During this time I unloaded bark and coal trucks and fed a belt system providing bark and or coal to 1 or 2 power boilers. For 3 yrs. I operated the mill water and waste water treatment plants. Responsibilities were treating 18-20 million gallons of river water for use in the mill operations. I also treated all mill sewer/waste water for discharge back into the river. All discharge was monitored by testing and electronic equipment to ensure it met all government regulations. The mill has since been sold and is now operated by International Paper.

Birmingham, Alabama Area

As a CST I worked as part of a 4 man self managed work group. I provided on site repair and customer training to 250+ accounts across 5 counties in SW Alabama. I was trained in operation and service repair of over 50 Xerox products. I maintained an inventory of parts for these products to ensure 90% repair on initial call visit to prevent excessive customer down time and minimal return visits.

While serving in the Marine Corps I performed bench level repair of communication and navigation systems for A4M and F/18A aircraft. After my promotion to Corporal (E4) I was appointed evening shift NCO for the A4 com/nav shop. I tested for and received my Collateral Duty Inspector(QA) stamp. I was responsible for overseeing the testing and repair, as well as the paperwork for com/nav equipment going out of the shop during the evening shift. Honorable Discharge.
