Check & prepare all passengers as they prepare to fly from my airport. Used various X-Ray machines at checkpoint and baggage pods looking for prohibited items to ensure they do not get on board any airplanes. Perform Full Standard Pat Downs or Limited Area Pat Down searches. Conduct various bag checks to remove any prohibited items. Verified passenger identification & boarding documents. I trained newly hired employees for baggage & checkpoint operations. Help the Wounded Warriors as they arrive for departing flights. Contacting them prior to their arrival & meeting them curbside to assist with luggage, checking in with their air carrier then getting them through security checkpoint then onto their departure gates. Meet inbound Wounded Warriors at their arrival gates, pick up their checked luggage and getting them to their vehicles or meeting with family members to take them home. Performed secret testing at other airports to ensure they are following all SOP standards and met with Federal Service Directors (F.S.D.) with written reports after completing inspections. Trained other coworkers to perform these inspections & write up after action reports to be given to F.S.D. s Served on both our Employee Advisory Board & Employee Advisory Committees to assist my F.S.D. in creating a better & effective workplace. Maintained an accurate count of prisoners in my buildings to ensure no escapes had occurred. fed prisoners, clothed prisoners, supervised prisoners during recreation periods,education classes, religious services and while eating. Escorted prisoners off unit to medical facilities at other prisons or hospitals.
