Initially appointed CEO/Principal of Deeside College in 2004 I led the three highly successful mergers that followed - with the Welsh College of Horticulture (2009), Llysfasi (2010) & Yale College, Wrexham (2013). As part of this final merger the college was named Cambria. A period of unprecedented institutional and personal success followed, with Cambria becoming highly respected across the UK as a leading, outstanding, and civically aware & connected institution, serving the needs of individuals, employers & its communities. As I had always planned, I stepped down from the role of CEO at the end of 2019 to take up a portfolio of new roles and face new challenges and opportunities that build on my experience and passions. -
