I am currently in my final semester of the Honour’s Commerce Program at McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business, focusing on data analytics. Throughout my undergraduate career, I have learned many valuable skills, including critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and technical expertise in various analyses. Further, my undergraduate career has prepared me for a future in business as I have become proficient in Python, R, JMP, SQL, Tableau, Canva, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.As a Junior Development Coordinator at Starlight Investments, I communicated efficiently and effectively with a team in the collaborative preparation of RFPs and Proposals for Consultants, ensuring smooth operations in large-scale residential development projects. Prior to this, I had the opportunity to be a Summer Student, Legal at Starlight Investments. In this position, I worked with various financial statements and MD&A for large-scale residential projects, learning the ins and outs of corporate finance. Outside my academic and professional life, I have had the privilege of working with the fantastic team at the Bean Bar as a server. Here, I have learned many valuable skills, such as teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment. I am also a member of the McMaster community where I enjoy participating in intramurals and have had the opportunity to volunteer as a first year orientation program mentor. While applying my knowledge from my professional and academic background, I have been able to adapt quickly and thrive in any organizational environment, consistently exceeding expectations and building meaningful relationships with those around me. Moving forward, I wish to expand my knowledge and am eager to learn new skills. Overall, I am seeking new opportunities where I can lean into my strengths, build my range of expertise, and grow in a challenging environment.
