Building upon my previous technical experience I was given a opportunity to move into a management role within the Sterling Group of companies. The main function of this role was to update and re-energise the processes adopted by this team for both Project Delivery and Technical Management.Other responsibilities in addition to this included: - Project Leadership for all projects within the Engineering and Asset Management (excluding major projects lead directly by the Managing Director). - Resource allocation of all resources within the Engineering and Asset Management Division. - Reporting on project status on all projects within the Engineering and Asset Management Division to the chair of the board of directors.

Acting as a Project Engineer for ActivateRail I built upon my previous experience as a Project Coordinator and took on more technical projects. A large portion of my tenure as a Project Engineer was on secondment to Metro Trains Melbourne as a key member of the interface team for the Metro Tunnel Project. In this role I was responsible for a range of technical reviews regarding the scope of this project to ensure that the design and constriction methodologies of the project would not impact the operations of Metro.In addition to this my other responsibilities included: - Review of access applications to the rail corridor to ensure compliance with Metro procedures. - Development of minor works scopes for works supporting the Melbourne Metro Project. - Liaising with stakeholders and key Metro internal groups including Projects, Operations, Infrastructure, Engineering and other associated parties regarding the Melbourne Metro Rail Project. - Management of Metro completions processes for a range of minor projects.

With ActicateRail (formally Sterling Infrastructure) I have acted as a Project Engineer on a number of projects. This has involved consulting with third party stakeholders to assist them to meet rail operator requirements or acting on behalf of rail operators to grant access. This has included work on a number of Major Projects.- Flinders Street Station Upgrade- Regional Rail Revival ProgramThis role has required me to complete the following duties.- Preparation of technical advice regarding rail access strategies.- Preparation and review of management plans- Preparation and review of rail access permits and site access documentation- Review of safety documentation to ensure compliance with rail operator standards- Management of project stakeholders- Review of engineering documentation and drawings to ensure compliance with rail operator standards.

In my time at Downer I have worked as a Project Engineer on a range of railway maintenance and asphalt surfacing projects including Re-Railing, Ballast Renewals, Rail Stress Free Temperature (SFT) Management, Vegetation Management and roads/airfields surfacing.This role has allowed me to perform a wide array of functions throughout the project cycle including:Tender PreparationProject Estimating and BudgetingProject Planning including Program SchedulingResource Procurement and Contractor ManagementSite Management including Quality AssuranceStakeholder ManagementBusiness Analysis
