Responsible for leading the Outpatients Transformation Programme together with being the Operational Lead for the Service

Responsible for the delivery of the Ophthalmology Service delivered across 7 sites35 million turnover 20 million budget Deliverables :- Demonstrated strong leadership in challenging circumstances - RTT recovery/ reduction - Financial Recovery - reduced run rate expenditure in year significantly - CIP - Contribution to the overall cost improvement process and targets - Redesigning of patient pathways to reduce waiting times for patients-Implementation of revised management structure for Opthalmology - Implementation of systems and process to ensure the service was fit for purpose following external review.- Implementation and redesign of workforce - reduced cost and improved quality

Transformation of Ophthalmology Services including -- Redesign and implementation of Ophthalmology Primary and Secondary care services - Redesign of patient pathways including Medical Retina, Glaucoma, Primary Care, Rapid Access to create a hole systems approach- Working in partnership with the Clinical Team design of Clinical Protocols to support Allied HealthCare Professionals in the delivery Of Ophthalmic Care- Lead for stakeholder engagement with CCGs
