Held the title of Clerk to the Committee from 1998 until 2013 when I reduced my commitment to part time.Responsible for all aspects of support to General Practice in Kent. The LMC is the representative body for General Practice and consults with NHS England (Kent and Medway) the 8 CCGs in Kent as well as a wide range of other organisations that interface with General Practice. The LMC supports individual GPs as well as providing a wide range of support and guidance to GP practices, including dispute resolution, practice mergers, business development, legal advice on all contractual issues, representation, training etc.

Industrial Relations Officer. Responsible for support and advice to all BMA members in Kent, including Hospitals, General Practice, Occupational Health, Public Health, Armed Forces.Support to members on all aspects of employment, negotiation and consultation with Hospital Trusts, support to GP practices on all aspects of the GP contract, development of business, employment of staff, liaison with Health Authorities and PCTs

Responsible for Collective Bargaining for members of the union in Kent in a wide range of industries including, Engineering, Health, Construction, Insurance, Chemicals.Provision of individual support to members including representation at Employment Tribunals.
