David is a US Army Veteran and graduate of the City College of New York. He has obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and is excited to combine his economics and military experience with the hands on IT knowledge provided by FDM. He understands the importance of being committed to a team which stems from his military career in which he consistently and successfully partook in numerous individual and group exercises. This experience also enabled him to excel in college and as customer service manager at Ocean Star International, an international logistics company, in which he advanced from a sales associate to director of customer service in only two years. David’s effective presentation skills won him an opportunity to launch his own logistics technology company in 2017 at the Zahn Center, a business incubator within the City College of New York. He was able to build a team, conduct market research, and pitch his business idea at Google. He is always willing to put in the extra work and explore new ideas which led him to partake in a fintech competition during which he more fully understood the importance of IT and its role in the future of economics and finance. As an economics major he completed projects in private equity business valuations, cash flow analysis and value investment. These projects have reinforced his time management skills, team mentality approach, and analytical skills necessary for an App Support Analyst role.
