As the State and Business Product Manager, my role answers directly to the General Manager of Operations and CEO. I am the central point of contact for the fitness industry and government for the NSW, Victoria, ACT and Tasmania. The Role involves networking with all levels of the industry from student personal trainers to CEOs of the largest fitness businesses in Australia working with them to develop and implement best practices as well as representing their interests to all government levels.Key responsibilities• Represent AUSactive at local, state and national government levels• Build and maintain effective relationships with business member portfolios.• Promote & educate and present to portfolio members on relevant AUSactive projects, standards, events, campaigns & initiatives• Maintain knowledge of day‐to‐day industry trends & opportunities• Develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.

As a product developer, I managed the creation of documents and strategies to expand the appeal of products outside of sport-specific settings. This included the product placement and subsequent creation of education strategies and collateral to inform new end users of the applicability of the products across a wide variety of settings.
