A pioneering Associate Professor of Innovation, who specialises in innovation processes and learning in innovation. I also have a special interest in tacit knowledge. With 16+ journal papers and 23+ conference papers published, I have extensive knowledge and learning in the field of Innovation Management. I have varied consulting experience, helping teams to maximise their potential and empowering companies to maximise innovation and growth within their own senior teams. Utilising Agile and Scrum methodologies in student projects, I successfully lead groups to achieve personal and professional development. I also lead various modules at Southampton Business School, including Managing Innovation. My teaching covers BSc and MBA. My PhD (2003-2007) focused on knowledge management for engineering design, addressing design process methods. As a result, I have spearheaded contribution to this field and now specialise in Innovation management, knowledge management, tacit knowledge, design processes, engineering design, engineering management, manufacturing and research.
