Back in the mists of time I was a young-gun in the emerging video games business, working initially in project management (at a small publisher called Elite), before moving onto PR and brand management - ending up as head of product development at U.S.Gold, at the time Europe's largest publisher of 'computer games' - as they were known back in the eighties, working with Capcom, Lucasfilm and software developers throughout the UK.Founded Networx Group (now re-branded as NWX) in 1989 and began importing and distributing in-car electronics products, something we still do to this day, primarily in-car dashboard camera products - we have been the exclusive UK distributor of the world's leading dashcam brand BLACKVUE, since 2014.Successfully entered the hi-fi business in 2001 when Networx Group secured UK distribution for a U.S loudspeaker brand - Anthony Gallo Acoustics, eventually purchasing the brand in the summer of 2016, before exiting in 2022 when Gallo Acoustics was purchased by Pulse-Eight Ltd. In June 2023 I became CEO of the Pulse-Eight Group. In 2003, I had the idea of developing a new type of in-car DAB digital radio that could be connected to any vehicle's audio system... and REVO was born. While our original in-car product was met with critical acclaim, it failed to sell in large enough quantities and the original Revo business was wound-up in early 2006. REVO V2.0 (Revo Technologies Ltd) was born in late summer 2006 and we now successfully design and build a range of multi award-winning digital radio and music streaming devices, sold under the REVO brand. REVO was sold to TELESTAR of Germany in June 2020.
