Delivery of in-person and remote training to help the COLP's applicants have a better chance of passing the police constable recruitment process.

I work one-to-one on Teams and Skype with clients from all over the world to help them to pass competency/ behavioural interviews for whatever role they have applied for. I teach them techniques that will help them prior to their interview as well as during it. I mock interview them and then give them constructive, comprehensive, performance-enhancing feedback to boost their chances of securing the role. Each individual session is tailored to that specific client.

I deliver assessment centre training to students from a number of the UWL's various schools. These courses help students to attain any role that they are applying for whether it be in the private, public or voluntary sector.

I am the mentor for Brunel University London's Brunel Summer Internship Programme (BSIP) . I am proud to be part of a very small team that makes a difference to students who on average do not have the advantages of some of their peers. The brilliance and effectiveness of BSIP was recognised when in 2020 it won the prestigious National Undergraduate Employability inaugural award for 'Best Widening Participation Initiative'. My role on this programme is cradle-to-grave. I help students regarding their CVs and cover letters and interview techniques. I encourage them to apply for roles and help them to identify the best example of the skills employers want. I also make suggestions as to what options are open to them. Once they secure their internships I visit them at their work place to ensure that they and their employers are happy. As and when required, I trouble-shoot any issues over the course of my students' internships.

The trainer for the company's group recruitment training webinars and one-to-one Teams/ Skype sessions. These include start-to-finish recruitment process webinars (group sessions) and one-to-one assessment centre specific training for the sought after role of trainee train driver.

I delivered in-person and remote training to USW students to enhance their chances of passing the recruitment processes for various policing roles. In addition I delivered generic assessment centre training to students who wanted a variety of roles in the private, public or voluntary sector.

I performed several varied and interesting roles during a long career (30 years). My favourites was as a specialist trainer and recruiter in the Met's Human Resources Branch. Here my main role was to increase the percentage of candidates passing their assessment. This I achieved by writing and delivering highly regarded and well received support sessions to candidates prior to their assessment. My courses were proven to add 5-6% to an average candidate's scores. They also had a disproportionately beneficial effect on female and black and minority ethnic candidates.Other roles in the Met included being the 'batman' to the Deputy Director of Public Affairs and decision maker in traffic prosecution cases at two police stations. My last role with the Met was the delivery of first class training to police officers, PCSOs, special constables and police staff.
