Between September 2022 - December 2023 I worked part-time (alongside finishing my studies) as an academic assistant for Research Centre Global Dynamics (ReCent Globe), an institute which is part of Leipzig University and dedicated to the study of globalisation projects in the past and present in a broad interdisciplinary cooperation. I undertook various roles in my time there, including assisting in event planning and co-ordination of the GLOBE22 Science Festival in September and October 2022. I was also been an active contributor in the team building and designing a 'Science Portal' for the CrossArea network of several prestigious research institutes across Europe and the wider world. Part of this included preparing hundreds of videos from the various institutes involved to ensure they are ready for distribution on the Portal.

During my time studying Global Studies at Leipzig University, I undertook modules concerning the State in Southern Africa, Mediatization of Military Interventions, Populism studies, Social Media studies and Global Health. I also conducted an extensive Master Thesis on the fans of several City Football Group clubs (Manchester City, New York City and Melbourne City), for which I was awarded the best Master Thesis in the cohort (you can read it below if you'd like).
