Golf Queensland is the State Sporting Organisation (SSO) for golf.As a member of the Board of Directors, I assist in providing strategic direction and managerial oversight to the business and operations of Golf Queensland.

• Overall executive responsibility for a 27 hole golf course with bar, bistro, gaming operations and in excess of 25 staff• Perform the dual role of Company Secretary and General Manager • Advanced membership operations for in excess of 1,000 golf playing members• High level negotiations with local and state government with regard to further development opportunities for the Club land including preparation of submissions for million dollar development and course improvement projects• Advanced financial management and budgeting to allocate the multi-million dollar Club revenue to achieve greatest possible return• Preparation and roll out of the Club’s three year Strategic Plan

• Responsible for all aspects of Queensland Athletics including financial management, marketing, human resources, operations, competitions development and high performance• High level advice and assistance to the Queensland Athletics Board• Representing Queensland Athletics in high level negotiations• Highly developed stakeholder management skills, communication and presentation skills through, for example, preparation of Board papers and business cases as well as communication required with all stakeholders involved in the sport • Development and implementation of Queensland Athletics’ strategic plan and subsequent operational plans

• Part of event management team for major sporting events including the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000• Liaising with government, sponsors and other key stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes• Development of strategic company policy documentation regarding access to events attracting in excess of 190,000 patrons• Development and implementation of ticketing and accreditation systems for major sporting events • Development and implementation of national and international ticketing strategy and complementary marketing strategies

Commercial Risk Management and Dispute Resolution • Advised and represented clients in general commercial transactions• Highly advanced communication skills both written and oral including high-level negotiations for, and with, governmental organisations and publicly listed companies• High level of organisation and well developed ability to prioritise through administration of many large and complex client files• Highly advanced relationship and project management skills Corporate / Commercial Advisory • Advised clients on complex and detailed corporate transactions• Highly developed ability to produce timely, accurate and relevant reports, agendas and advices • Regularly advised clients in respect of their compliance obligations arising pursuant to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) • Experience in conducting due diligence for major projects and management of contractual relationships between entities
