I have extensive experience with software development, especially with creating solutions or enhancing current offerings for customers using a variety of platforms and languages. Over the years, I have been on teams that created Windows applications, Windows services, IIS-based websites, Linux-based web sites, web services, database solutions, and cloud-based offerings - both for end users and internal company use. Sometimes teams were small and focused on business development. Other times the teams were spread over multiple countries to create multilingual solutions to facilitate internal processes, enhance a product, or introduce a new service offering.I am proficient with written and spoken communication with team members as well as customers, including being used as a technical resource for customers when needed. I have also been a system architect for multiple systems, many of which required interfaces to external companies.Most recently, I have been focused on web services, databases, and web sites deployed in Microsoft Azure using C#, .NET and .NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, Transact SQL, Razor pages, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, VMs, app services, cloud services, IIS, SQL Azure, Azure BLOB Storage, and Azure Tables. I also have extensive experience with SQL Server database design, stored procedures, indexes, and replication. I have held positions in software development continuously since graduating college. I use the foundation provided by that education as well as my experience to learn new technologies, solve problems, and help create new solutions. These systems are documented, designed, and implemented for quality and ease of maintenance over time.
