Working for QEP over the past 18 months or so has shown me what I could see from the outside of the business. A forward thinking organisation working hard to grow, constantly inward investing in its staff and infrastucture. We have just took delivery of a new Mazak turning centre with powered tooling. It also has C and Y axis capablities.We are always looking for new opportunities to expand QEP Ltd's customer base.We are based in the Forest of Dean near Cinderford employing 15 staff. Our manufacturing facility has a comprehensive range of equipment for which I have a plant list should anyone require it. The company was originally set up as a press shop, but by nature it had a small tool room attached to support the pressing area. This has now grown to be a manufacturing area in its own right. Still supporting the press area with the manufacture, service and design of its tooling, but also supplying various companies both locally and nationwide with machined parts. Our skill base is of a very high standard producing high quality products for aerospace and motor sport. We can handle all drawing forms and process these through our CAM software to produce a quick turnaround of high specification components for our customersOur quality department has a full range of checking equipment including a Aberlink Axiom too CMM.We are AS9100C and ISO 9001 accredited.We would welcome you to come and see our facility here in Cinderford.Plans have been drawn up for expansion of our facility. A new building is being added and our machining capacity will be expanded, this will then enhance our capabilities and further improve the services that we are able to offer to new and old customers.
