Also includes management of the ID badging office and operation.• Determine appropriate level of security needed in projects, renovations, new installation requests.• Designs and implements appropriate system architecture • Authorizes and directs vendor installation and repair of card readers, cameras, digital video servers, alarm points, motion detection systems and emergency duress alarms.• Conducts security assessments. • Authorizes security changes and modifications within the system including system hardware configuration, individual and group ID badge access levels, card reader time zone adjustments for specific events. • Supervision of ID badging operations including supervision of staff, new employee orientations and health system wide badging efforts. Supervises data entry, digital photo equipment and supply use, badge printing and distribution. Approves supply orders of card stock, lanyards, clips, covers, printer ribbons, print heads, cleaning materials. • Directs and plans version upgrades, software installations, escalate and tracking of issues/questions to tech support, application of system patches, remote access options, services review, device downloads, configuration and modification of panel settings, door devices, video devices, time zones, access levels.
