* Operational responsibility for the Housing Allocations team.* Change-managed the team in response to Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, redesigning service delivery and staff responsibilities.* Designed and implemented voids management strategy, leading to a reduction of void times within own housing stock from 34 days to 17 days within nine months, and streamlining process to nominate to housing providers.* Lead the allocation of social housing in the borough, including liaison and negotiation with housing providers, statutory reviews, complaints and MP / councillor enquiries.* Reviewed and re-wrote the Council’s Housing Allocations Policy in line with legislative and statutory changes, case law and best practice.* Super User for Locata based CBL and Homelessness system, providing necessary training and support, and implementing three year improvement plan.* Author and present reports to Housing Committee where necessary to implement new projects.* Complete Equalities Screenings / Equality Impact Assessments for major policies / documents. * Successfully brought fraudulent application to prosecution under Fraud Act 2006.* Manage liaison and partnerships with Housing Associations who have stock in-Borough.* Negotiate Nominations Agreements for new developments in-Borough, including liaising with the Housing Association and Legal teams. * Monitor adherence to Nominations Agreements on a quarterly basis with relevant Housing Associations.Develop approach to Extra Care in-Borough, implementing Local Lettings Plan to promote access.* Manage downsizing budget. * Authored and implemented revised Mutual Exchange Policy in response to Localism Act 2011.
