Duties:- Assist with managing duties.- Quotations & costing.- Liaise with 1st, 2nd tier suppliers & customers.- Complete all manufacturing tasks from concept to commissioning.- Consultation in advanced manufacturing processes.- Manage PMS (preventative maintenance schedules) & site maintenance.- Manage Purchasing, Warehouse & Logistics requirements.- Manage OH&S requirements.- Manage quality control systems.- Manage /supervise manufacturing employees.- Conduct & document test results for welding procedures, qualification & pressure vessel testing.- Project management.

Contract Duties:Project management.Extensive travel within Australia & Thailand.Liaise with 1st, 2nd tier suppliers & customers.Develop relationship with overseas businesses to support relocation project.Develop & deliver presentations & concepts to host business in Thailand.Complete all Manufacturing Engineering tasks to support both Holden & Ford.Manage commissioning & decommissioning requirements both in Australia & Thailand.Develop preventative maintenance schedules & critical spares lists for production lines.Complete APQP documentation such as managing & submission of:Process flow diagrams.PFMEA’s.Process Control Plan’s.SOP’s.Develop & deliver training to line managers, supervisors & assembly employees.Coordinate run@rate’s.Line times & balancing.Warehouse layoutsPart location/storage.

Duties:Project management.Project costing.Development, improvement & refinement of systems & manufacturing process.Set goals to enhance self-management and career progression.Liaise with customers & suppliers regarding technical requirements and new products.Continuous improvement through standardisation of products.Member of the “Round table committee”, Team leader for Product standardisation SIP. (Strategic Implementation Process).Develop Custom Configurator module.Support & consult VSM (Value Stream Mapping) project.Support & consult Logistics.Tracking & expediting materials/equipment for both production requirement & on site installations.

Duties:Management of First Operations area.Manage continuous improvement projects in the areas of systems and information flow, layout, safety and ergonomics.Develop First Operations Capital forecast and manage to ensure targets are met.Set goals to enhance self-management and career progression.Development, improvement & refinement of manufacturing processes.Documentation of work instructions, registers and routings.Coordinate time studies & audits.Supervision and operator training; enforcing theoretical and practical knowledge.Investigate production inefficiency issues & make recommendations.Manage OH&S issues.Investigate and implement corrective actions for incident reports and hazard identification.Review and update procedures associated with ISO19001, as assigned.Complete Engineering Change Requests to implement design, quality and process improvements.Coordinate DXF’s, CNC Programs and Nests for CofA & subcontractors profile cutters.Program CNC machinesComplete engineering deliverables for new product introductions.Project Manage the installation & commissioning of new equipment into manufacturing process.Project Management of machinery/tooling upgrades.Coordinate & negotiate maintenance schedules for machinery.Liaise with customers & suppliers regarding technical requirements and new products.Assist scheduling and purchasing department with sub-contract supply issues and technical information.Implement 6 Sigma, Caterpillar Production Systems, 5-S and Lean Manufacturing methodologies into processes to remove non-value added activities, effectively reducing cost of goods sold.

Duties:Operate Farley Magician (Flame cutter), Farley Stiletto (Plasma cutter) and Kinetic (Bevel head Plasma cutter).Operate Lathe, planer, automatic cut-off saw, Brobo, Cropper and straightening press.Heat-treat pins and edges.Operate sandblasting equipment.Operate cranes to load and unload steel plates.General maintenance and machine upkeep.

Duties:Machining (turning, boring, facing and parting off), automatic cut off saw.Cylindrical and surface grinding, deburring, milling, drilling and tapping.Welding (Arc, MIG, braizing and soldering).Design, manufacture and balance fixtures for welding & machining blanks.Mechanical repairs.Supervising / training 1st and 2nd year apprentice and factory hand.Quoting for jobs.
