o Owned 4 generations of probing process development and HVM qualification for memory sort, both tungsten needle and advanced probe designs. Partnered with multiple prober and probe card suppliers, product engineers and fab integration engineers for SIU selection, development, debug, ramp and support of probing processes in an HVM environment. o Sort process integration manager for 4 generations of Intel Flash memory sort processes. Owned production qualification criteria, qualification milestones, preparing cross discipline risk assessments, risk mitigation plans and selling key decisions/directions to senior management. Transferred “HVM ready” sort equipment and process toolset for transfer to Intel sort manufacturing facilities worldwide. In addition to technical background, this required a high level of interpersonal skills to build effective teams, work across disciplines, organizational levels and geographic areas. o Owned D2 Sort equipment and automation systems for a dynamic mixed technology development/production, 24/7 sort operation. Delivered tool availability results equal to HVM sort sites, in support of maximum capital equipment utilization.o Managed a highly motivated team of up to 14 technical professionals, including wafer sort module owners, sort automation, metrology and product engineering engineers.

Experienced with gas fired, gas/electric boost hybrid and 100% electric fired glass furnaces. 5 years experience with automated and manual batch mixing systems, pneumatic transport, furnace operation, gas firing system maintenance and troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, startup, control loop tuning, environmental emissions control and thermal optimization. Glass forming process engineer for hot-end processes, temperature and viscosity variability reduction, process controls and operational SPC systems.
