The key purpose of this role is to efficiently and predictably pursue and execute client projects to high levels of customer satisfaction. Accountable for all operational activities across a £355m P&L utilising over 2000 employees on 650 live projects worldwide. A key member of the leadership team working directly for the Managing Director to drive prioritised decisions on key operational activities impacting business performance.

A business lead role helping to grow the Central Government business within the UK Services business from 90 to over 300 staff, which resulted in a P&L growth from £20m to over £80m in a 5-year period. Oversaw a period of consistently high utilisation of staff whilst also bidding and winning new work. Accountable for managing the cost base of the business whilst meeting the needs of strategic managed accounts.

Responsible for managing 500+ people across 4 client groups (National Security, Defence, Civil Government, Commercial). Had 4 direct reports across the service line, utilising hundreds of staff members to deliver client projects profitably. Resolved project conflicts, business priorities whilst balancing people’s career and developmental needs. Responsible for providing financial and operational analysis to support senior management.

Responsible for managing around 200 people working across 3 accounts with combined revenues of over £50m. Provided detailed financial and operational analysis for senior management.
