During my employment at Graham Engineering my main job role has been as a Design Engineer within the Design Office. Along with an involvement in Nuclear Projects, I have been an integral part of the development, design and manufacture of both domestic and industrial Hot Water Cylinders; as well as working alongside the Quality Department, using my 3D modelling knowledge to create both online and offline programmes using PC-DMIS, for the inspection of both piece parts and sub-assemblies of our Product, this includes:• Concept design, including calculations to meet clients product requirements• Producing Manufacturing Processes, including Tools and fixtures.• Creating full Manufacture “working drawings” to produce good quality products for clients.• Excellent Cad Skills and General CMM Programming Knowledge• Familiarity with measuring parts using inspection programs, written with PC-DMIS operating systems• Deep Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, general Production methods and engineering Standards• Ability to read drawings and interpret drawings and GD&T symbols• Excellent written and oral communication skillsCurrently, my job role has grown to include the establishment and maintenance of Projects where I have become knowledgeable and comfortable with the use of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.I have also completed extensive training courses in Microsoft Projects where I have created Project Plans including Critical Paths and Mile Stones.
