Mr Bogus is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) of the American Society of Appraisers who specializes in the financial valuation of business enterprises, fractional business interests, intangible assets, limited liability company interests and general and limited partnership interests. He has experience and has performed valuations in various areas of business valuation including the areas of litigation support, intangible asset and intellectual property, financial reporting, option and warrant valuation, employee stock ownership plans, estate and gift tax, buy-sell agreements, mergers and acquisitions, goodwill impairment testing, professional practice valuations, and private debt and equity placements. In recent years, Mr Bogus has worked extensively with middle market companies in areas related to exit strategy and/or succession planning. That has included assisting clients in the strategic planning process for the purpose of transitioning ownership to the next generation of family or management, as well as leading efforts in marketing, structuring, and negotiating a complete exit from the buiness through a merger with an outside party.
