Tara Steel & Engineering have more than 15 years experience in the stainless and mild steel engineering business. The companies main focus is bespoke stairs for industrial buildings. Within this company I look after the daily sales and purchasing for both customers and clients.Tara also runs a shop which supplies goods to the engineering trade. My duties include the following::Purchasing of materials for manufacture in factory.:Purchase of resale items for engineering shop.:Counter sales of engineering goods.:Pricing of client works :Sales and paperwork of Airproducts Industrial gases for cutting,welding etc.:All paperwork including purchase orders,delivery dockets and invoicing.:Overseeing of workers on factory floor , issuing jobs for manufacture.:Customer relations:Daily running of engineering shop and steel sales yard From when I first started working with this family run business in 2005 I was given the freedom to try and improve and expand the steel yard and engineering shop.The business has grown with great sucess with the addition of many new products and services for customers. The shop premises had to be expanded in 2008 to accomodate this expansion.
