Knowledgeable in industry standard and bespoke forms of contract, with experience in both Client and Contractor roles. Development of Client and Contractor relationships. Consulted and involved in the drafting, review, implementation and audit of standard company operating procedures. Identifying and analysing contractual and subcontracted risk and liability. Drafting and negotiation of contracts, including incorporation of Client ‘flow-downs’. Managing and allocation of department resource levels, internal/external training programs, annual reviews. Managing and implementing the standard contracting processes and procedures (including bringing in a new on-line supply chain prequalification system), providing a full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work on each project run by the company: qualifying contractors, issuing proposal requests, evaluating proposals, leading all major negotiation of major subcontract agreements, detailed recommendations, awarding contracts, and managing the administration of post contract activities, including claims management and dispute resolution.
