Management of team of five with overall budget responsibility in excess of £1m. Organised flagship gala ball with 800 leading property industry directors, raising over £260k. Developed overall strategic fundraising plan for 2011-2012 with other department heads and created new inter-departmental planning procedures. Responsibilities include strategic planning of events portfolio, development of cross-team working practices, nurturing of key stakeholders, creation of corporate involvement opportunities and delivering on organisation wide objectives.

Coordinated involvement in running events including the London Marathon, the Great North Run and the London 10,000, nurturing over 350 supporters and beating £400k income target by £100k. Responsibilities included supporting and developing donors, managing volunteers, creating and organising events and creating and controlling budgets.

AIESEC UK, London National Events Manager 2006-2007Trained and coordinated 20 local managers to run 16 graduate Careers Fairs with over 1,000 company representatives and 32,000 student attendees, generating over £350k revenue, exceeding targets by 10%. Responsibilities included training local managers, creating national marketing plan, designing print and online marketing materials, creating and managing a budget, selling exhibition stands and advertising, resolving issues during the events and client servicing.AIESEC LEEDS, Leeds Careers Fair Coordinator 2005Managed a team of 40 volunteers to run a graduate Careers Fair with 60 companies and 3,700 student attendees. Responsibilities included team management and motivation, marketing to students, strategic planning and company servicing.Local Committee President 2003 - 2004Responsibilities included managing leadership team, maintaining motivation, managing finances, planning events, marketing and selling the AIESEC work abroad programme, looking after foreign trainees and setting direction of local organisation.
