As Head of Secondary School at the International School Seychelles, I lead a team in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, international-standard curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our student body. Through strategic initiatives and data-driven decision-making, I have enhanced student outcomes and school performance, while strengthening partnerships with stakeholders to enrich the overall learning experience. My leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to continuous improvement have been instrumental in establishing the school as a centre of educational excellence within the region.

As a dynamic Learning Lead at an International Baccalaureate School, I revamped the MYP curriculum for Individuals and Societies, enhancing student engagement and achievement. Additionally, I led pioneering research on scaffolding Inquiry-Based Learning, driving educational innovation. Championing a diverse student body of 570 from 45+ countries, I fostered an inclusive, globally-minded learning environment.

As Program Coordinator at NOSM University, I orchestrated the Family Medicine program focusing on rural and Indigenous health, collaborating closely with Indigenous communities. My role involved coordinating various aspects of the program to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with community needs. Through this initiative, I facilitated improved access to healthcare services and contributed to the well-being of Indigenous populations in the region.

I was a dedicated educator at a not-for-profit school adhering to the English National Curriculum, where I served a diverse student body of 900 from over 300 countries. In addition to teaching and leading History across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, I held leadership roles as Head of KS4, overseeing the coordination of IGCSE predicted grades during the COVID-19 pandemic, and as Head of History, where I successfully increased AS History student enrollment from 4 to 14, demonstrating my commitment to educational excellence and student success.

I was employed at a not-for-profit Microsoft International School, where I taught History across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, and also developed and coordinated humanities in the Junior School. During my tenure, I achieved outstanding academic results, with 93% of students earning grades B-A* in IGCSE, with 64% receiving A/A*. Additionally, I ensured that 100% of my A2 cohort met or exceeded their expected grades, with 75% achieving grades B-A*. These achievements underscore my commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering academic excellence among students aged 11 to 19 within the framework of the English National Curriculum.

Overhauled the middle school social studies curriculum and designed internationally themed individuals and societies syllabi.Established the school’s first History and Geography examination program and developed fully resourced schemes of work.

Spearheaded the school’s Year 7 (Grade 6 cohort), monitoring progress, behaviour and attainment in partnership with the school’s SLT.Boosted the school’s average 5 A*-C GCSE outcome (40%), from 45% A*-Cs to 64% A* to C with 92% achieving an A* to D.
