My first task upon taking over the role was to identify and reduce the core overstocks within the company, this has since been reduced by 20%.Other core job roles include the following:- Working with factories to ensure stock arrives in a timely manner, as well as helping to plan container loads. - Receiving and managing stock including moving stock into different areas of the business through our other third party warehouses and factories.- Fulfilling sales orders and working with forwarders to ensure that paperwork is managed efficiently and correctly. - Creating demand plans through excel to enable the sales team and directors too see stock levels and where and when items will need to be ordered and how that will affect stock levels. For a final project at university I created a fully functioning website called Championship Chatter. My roles included recruiting writers, creating and monitoring Social Media feeds such as Facebook and Twitter. Editing and uploading regular content to the website as well as maintaining a fresh and modern look to the site.
