David Brinson is a dynamic, driven storyteller who has written and edited at every level and has never missed a deadline. For graduate school, David accepted a prestigious writing fellowship from Boston University, completing his Master of Fine Arts in their nationally-ranked program. During his time at Boston University, he taught a 200-level course as a Teaching Fellow and met unrelenting deadlines with his own creative work. At the end of the MFA program, he received the BU Saul Bellow Fiction Prize, an annual honor chosen by the program's professors and given to an outstanding student. At Berklee College of Music, David developed exponentially as a teacher, leader, and editor, teaching both fluent English speakers and International (ESL) students. He continued this work with the incredible, creative students at Berklee College of Music while also teaching fiction writing at his alma mater, Boston University. His time at the front of the classroom—teaching creative writing, persuasive writing, and communications—was a tremendously rewarding experience, one that made him a more patient educator, a better leader, and a more meticulous editor.During his tenure as Communications Manager at New England Innovation Academy (a private day and boarding school in Marlborough, MA), David has successfully translated his passion for academia and his creative and technical writing talents to an environment of marketing and communications. At a rapid pace, he developed a recognizable and consistent brand voice in the company's first messaging map, revamped the school-wide newsletter to better serve its stakeholders, created ad campaigns for prospective families, completed a three-month project overhauling the website, and built the company's first automated nurture campaign.
