Contract ended due Covid-19.Working on the Trent 700 Project, I was part of the module final build team for the 02 Module (Intermediate Pressure Compressor). Current stamp holder for the Front Bearing Housing and Front Case and Vanes Assembly. My role involved:• Pre-assembly inspection of components • Precision measuring to fine tolerances • Use of heavy lifting equipment and following correct manual handling practices• Working to the correct revision of the engine manual and specific applied Service Bulletins• Following company policies and procedures to comply with EASA Part-145 regulations• Using specialist mechanical fitting techniques and tooling to assemble the module components and final assembly of the complete module.

My role involved routine heavy maintenance and defect rectification on the British Airways Airbus Shorthaul Fleet in accordance with approved technical documentation adhering to British Safety Standards and EASA Part-145 regulations. Some tasks included engine servicing, component replacement, flight control rigging, cabin overhaul, fuel tank safety checks, and airframe inspections. During my last 4 years I worked as a key member of the engines team where I was involved in all aspects of inspecting, repairing and/or replacing components of the IAE V2500 engine as well throughout each zone of the aircraft when required. Other areas in which I have gained experience include working on the aircrafts complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This involved intricate problem solving and participating fully as part of a team to ensure the aircraft was returned to service promptly and airworthy, whilst meeting the demands of strict timescales. I am a competent, fully trained mechanic capable of working without supervision, and required to be fully flexible in my working hours to meet business requirements.
