I am a Chartered Engineer with over 25 years of experience in oilfield completions. I have worked in the North Sea, Brasil (deep water), Egypt, and Sudan. During this time, I have gained considerable experience including detailed completion design, offshore and onshore supervision and project management as an operator and in the service sector. Throughout my time in completions I have gained knowledge of the following areas; completion equipment, material selection and corrosion, sand control, reservoir monitoring, multi-lateral wells, heavy oil, intelligent completions, gas lift optimization, ESP and HSP completions, drilling operations, well control, fluid management, well testing, well services, snubbing and stimulation. I have worked on subsea, platform and land rigs and have a thorough understanding of the operational considerations of each environment.I am a team player, used to working in demanding environments. I am used to working in a multi-disciplined drilling group with responsibilities to meet tight deadlines and react to changing operational schedules. Throughout my career I have been flexible in location and have demonstrated an ability to communicate clearly with other business functions and management.My particular expertise is in completion design and operations where I have a proven record of delivering successful projects. I have expertise in Tubing Stress Analysis (TDAS and Well Cat), Gas lift (prosper), Torq and Drag (Well Plan) Completion design and Optimization. I have experience of HAZOP/HAZID, both leading teams and as a participant.
