As a Liability Adjuster in the Specialist Liability Services department of Crawford & Company, I investigated and handled liability claims on behalf of Insurance companies. Depending on the client, my role incorporated investigation of legal liability, policy coverage and quantum, reporting to insurers, obtaining witness statements, negotiating with third party solicitors or insurers/representatives and handling a file to completion. I was involved predominantly with Employers' Liability, Public Liability injury and damage, and Product Liability matters.
