I founded DCB Solutions in July 2013. The purpose of my company is to assist companies in the industrial and oilfield applications find solutions to reduce there maintenance operating cost by giving them the tools to do it. I assist companies in all aspects of maintenance ranging from preventive maintenance to budget and repairs. In preventive maintenance my main focus is to teach a client how to inspect work to determine if it is quality or not. My philosophy is" if it does not look right it probably is not". Also in preventive maintenance I show clients how to create records and determine which parts are to be considered consumable. In the Budget aspect of things I shows clients how to negotiate with vendors and bring prices down. As well as teaching them that preventive maintenance should be a big portion of your budget. I show clients that spending money on reactive maintenance instead of preventative maintenance is more costly. I teach clients how to use predictive maintenance as well. I show them this because I believe that if you can predict when something could occur you can replace the wear parts before you lose production or productivity time, which can get costly. I also teach clients maintenance techs general repair procedures such as a proper way to rebuild a pump, install bearings etc.. Believe it or not there are a lot of maintenance techs out there that do not know the correct way or procedure of repairing machinery. I also specialize in RV and mobile home maintenance. I teach rental companies the importance of RV maintenance. In this field i teach companies that 50% of what the company is judged on is service the other 50% is presentation. If the customer does not like how it looks than business could get slow. Since most of these type of referrals are word of mouth. I also incorporate my industrial knowledge into these companies to help them succeed.
