I created a plug-in in C and C++ for iTunes (both Windows and OS X) and Windows Media Player to populate or correct metadata (e.g. album title, artist, album art) in audio files. My focus has been on interfacing with the Gracenote SDK to retrieve, interpret and improve upon its music identification results. I was responsible for the make system and installer for Windows and have worked on internationalization throughout the code base. I also dealt with porting from XP to Vista/7 as well as other Windows COM, IPC, security, UAC and system-level issues, and have worked with embedding the gecko web browser into the product.
