- Developed new Xfinity XB6/XB7 RDK products for Comcast in Agile process environments and follow up its life cycle implementation, including wrote code in C/C++, built, verified, released downloadable and flash images for circuit board level on embedded Linux system, and documented the factory and repair processes for the Cable Modem, VoIP, Gateway, Wifi, MoCA and IoT combined products.- Identified opportunities, such as monitoring the product internal settings and status continuously on the production lines to detect the product defect and make correction early, and developed strategies to improve factory yield rate, quality and reduce the cost via meeting with offshore factory team and repair center team to support and optimize the steps of factory and repair process from end-to-end production and test stations. The result reduced the product final fusing failure rate from previous 0.2% to 0 in millions of the production units.

Also served as a member of an early engineer crew on site at Comcast during the second-generation RDK product XB6 development.- Wrote scripts and instruction documents in configuring, staging and final check to prepare, handle and final check for the industry Cable Lab certifications submissions to meet the customer requirements to launch the new products.- Developed the company first whole home solution MP5 product with data, telephone and video services with DSG for life cycle development and served as CM/MTA provision and telephone service expert.- Led offshore development and SQA team from a business partner to support Broadcom chip-based Cable Modem, VoIP and Gateway combined products with C/C++. Interfaced with product line management team and customer support team to drive the release for the products.- Helped to establish and trained the company first offshore software development team for architectures and frameworks of CM (Cable Modem) and MTA (Multimedia Telephone Adaptor) combined products with bilingual (English and native mandarin Chinese).
