I have over 25 years' experience in higher education teaching, leading and managing large-scale research projects and collaborative clinical research trials that seek to make breakthrough discoveries. My core research interests include identifying the mechanisms by which the human diet is able to regulate human well-being and improving and promoting global human health and food sustainability. I plan to work with industry, government agencies, multi-national food companies, ingredient companies, investment and funds management organisations and research partners to develop clinical trials in personalised nutrition for diabetes prevention, promotion of gut health and well-being.
