As Vice President, Technical Operations was responsible for all maintenance and engineering activities at JetBlue Airways, and to led the technical operations department in its pursuit of providing superb service quality to key internal customers. Responsible for the cost-effective management of the total technical operations function. Oversaw the establishment and control of technical, safety and airworthiness standards for the aircraft fleet and the related maintenance of test equipment and facilities. Also coordinated activities related to the introduction, operation and retirement of aircraft in accordance with the approved fleet plan. Directed key functions in the technical arena – engineering, line maintenance, heavy maintenance, third party partner relations, quality assurance, quality control, maintenance planning, maintenance control and materiel. Responsible for the execution of high-quality maintenance and overhaul activity, as well as modifications work on the entire fleet, either through in-house resources or through third-party providers. Also manages relations with OEMs and other relevant parties related to optimal fleet management.
