I have been a practicing realtor licensed in the province for almost 30 years. Since my fathers passing in 1998 I have managed our firm and been the broker of record. I have focused on mostly commercial real estate throughout my career but have extensive experience in residential matters including condominium conversion, management and development. My experience with the Calgary Real Estate Board allowed me an opportunity to assist the board in the development and implementation of the Commercial MLS division of the Board.More recently, over the last 5 years, I have focused much of my attention on Judicial sales. This is a specialization that I find interesting, and challenging. It is also very rewarding in that it allows me to work in an area that involves problem solving beyond the average real estate transaction. The ability to work within the judicial system is an area of real estate in which few realtors have experience. I have completed many judicial sales with total sales in the hundreds of millions. I am clear on the process and requirements involved in the presentation of offers and filing of affidavits and reports to the court and as such I do not need help in meeting the challenges of submitting documents that meet the standards of the court. I believe that this is a key element in determining who to use in a judicial sale. I have created excellent working relationships with all of the lawyers that I have had an opportunity to work with in this area of specialization and have had the privilege of working closely with many lenders. I look forward to continuing to work in this exciting specialization.
