Arrange outbound freight traffic, utilizing common carriers (surface and air) in accordance with delivery schedules, customer requirements, and efficiency/cost factors. Appointed to 12 months project, including management of 12-15 temporary staff and all function related to 300 square foot warehouse of shoes Selected as Employee of the quarter for juggling a year long Special project and normal job duties concurrently. Coordinate pickups and deliveries made by common carrier. Generate related reports for management as required. Process requests for proof of delivery and place claims for overcharges, losses, and damages. Follow up on POD'S and claims on customer and company orders. Verify export documentation and maintain records. Support Import/Export compliance and assist facilities with Import/Export requirements. Show less
