Provided extensive pro bono counsel to nonprofit organizations, including seven Native American tribes in South Dakota seeking to develop a collective utility-scale wind energy project, which was launched at the Clinton Global Initiative America in June 2013, and to a Chilean human rights organization in matters pending before the Inter-American Commission for Human Rights. Served as lead amici counsel to law enforcement officers and other first responders in appellate cases challenging state prohibitions against marriage equality.
