I am an experienced Utility Manager working within the water and wastewater utility industry. During my 35-year career, I have been in a supervisory or management capacity for over 25 years and have been successful in several key management roles including Water Production Manager, General Manager of Utilities, Director of O&M and most recently Assistant Director of Public Utilities. Throughout my career, I have focused on utility systems operations, organizational management and development, strategic and business planning, long-range planning, fiscal management, capital program management, asset management, business process development and other business competencies. During my long career, I have managed departments with more than 300 employees and $100M+ operating budgets. I have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to motivate people and can relate well to employees at all levels of the organization. I have a strong desire to solve problems and continuously improve through critical thinking, problem solving and team facilitation. My motivation comes from working within fast-paced environments that require focus, perseverance and a strong desire to make the organization better.
