Job Duty: Responsible for performing equipment selection, layouts and integration of specified equipment into total project systems required for industrial and bulk material handling facilities. This includes reviewing or preparing data and running specialty programs for sizing conveyors and dust collection systems. Assist in defining the mechanical requirements of the project phases, including conceptual, preliminary, final engineering and potentially operational support. This also includes coordinating with other disciplines to accomplish project tasks. In addition, the Design Engineer will be part of the project management process, which would include meeting with clients, obtaining field data, interaction with equipment vendors, participating in project meetings, establishing project standards and assisting in the development of the project design criteria.

Job Duties: Plan, schedule and manage production operations for the fabrication and assembly of conveyor systems used to move unique or heavy items in the manufacturing process. Develop continuous quality improvements throughout the fabrication and assembly processes. Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Estimators, inside sale and Salesmen to address project concerns. Job Duties: Design custom conveyor systems used to move unique or heavy items in the manufacturing process. Use mathematical modeling to determine if new developments and innovations should be used and will be cost effective and then turn research ideas into technical plans using CAD software. Collect and analyze data from prototype tests and develop final design. Troubleshoot and solve manufacturing issues.

Job Duties: Special project through Jacksonville State University to work on conveyer performance issue. Issue resolved and hired after internship.

Job Duties: Inspect job site to record work progress and to ensure all material installed meets specs, make as-built drawings. Test installed plumbing to ensure the quality of installation. Inventory all equipment for tracking of equipment. Design mechanical features needed for fabrication on site or at the shop. Operate plasma CNC cutting table. Conduct safety inspection on job site.

Modifying AutoCAD drawing into different file formats for large scale printing. Managing the file system to ensure file management for exterior companies, storing their drawing on Ridgeway’s server and ftp site. Finishing process such as mounting and laminating. Packaging and shipment of blueprint to the desired contractors.
