In collaboration with my European and US counterparts, I also conceptualised global Group sales initiatives. Additionally, I directed business and product expansion activity including creating CFO’s Research division in Asia and China, and diversifying the events portfolio. As part of this activity, I oversaw the launch of CFO India and the Research Conference division, and facilitated sponsorship of events and research projects.I was pleased to be able to maximize APAC multi-million-dollar revenue streams for CFO Asia and CFO China markets by managing advertising in Asian print and online editions of CFO, as well as advertising originating from Asia, to appear in CFO’s US and European divisions.Behind the scenes, I established and developed the Beijing sales office. In practical terms, that encompassed recruiting, training and managing operational activity of the local sales team, as well as a network of external advertising sales representatives based in four locations across Asia.
