Over the course of my career, I have developed significant experience in several sectors including automation, asset management, utility operations and construction of commercial and industrial assets. At this stage in my journey, my focus is on connecting this experience together to build something exceptional. I am professionally certified in several areas from organizations including the International Society of Automation, the Institute of Asset Management, and FINRA. As a manager for Hillsborough County, my team currently manages as significant portfolio of fixed assets. I have been involved with the development of Hillsborough County’s asset management program since 2015. My work has included implementation of an innovative iPad application used to quantify risk and assess the condition of vertical assets. I have also developed advanced algorithms for quantifying risk using a triple bottom line approach.During my time as an undergraduate, I had the opportunity to study the current water crisis in Lagos, Nigeria. This study opened my eyes to the developing world and the need for competent asset management. I believe that I possess the skills and experience necessary to make a positive difference. My goal is to use the experience that I have developed to help governments and organizations around the world.Overcoming adversity has residual effects, such as developing a relentless work ethic and determination to create a better life for future generations. My ultimate goal in life is to help others reach their full potential, especially those less fortunate than I have been.
