Designed 1st and only airbag compatible rear-facing infant seat. Allowed consumers to safely place rear-facing child restraint in front vehicle seat. This seat was designed pre airbag shut off technology in vehicles. Biomechanical numbers with direct blow of airbag were very low. approximately 150 - 250 22 msec HIC and 0.5 to 0.8 Nij using 6 and 12 month CRABI ATD. Utilized a grade of PP that was tested in extreme hot and cold test conditions.
